Glossary
Degree- an award conferred by a college or university signifying that the recipient has satisfactorily completed a course of study.
College- an institution of higher education created to educate and grant degrees.
Tuition- a fee paid for instruction (especially for higher education).
Grant- any monetary aid.
Accredited- A college or program which has been certified as fulfilling certain standards by a national and/or regional professional association. Accredited schools enable students to qualify for admission to other accredited institutions.
Credits- Units institutions use to record the completion of courses (with passing grades) that are required for an academic degree.
